I must, must, must see this movie (trailer below)!

Madonna - the Queen of Pop - has written/directed/produced a film about the storied relationship of Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII, who abdicated so that he could marry Wallis. If you've learned one thing about me from this blog, it's that I love anything to do with the British Royal family, and the story of Wallis and Edward is no exception!

The Daily Mail has written a great article about the making of this movie, which I highly recommend you read. It goes into detail about how Madonna became fascinated on the story of Wallis and Edward, the troubles she had getting the movie into production, and then getting the cast and crew to stay on, and lays out the process of decorating the set and creating the costumes (Cartier!).

#FLOTUS & Duchess Meet

Wondering what FLOTUS means? It's an abbreviation for First Lady Of The United States, aka Michelle Obama. (So naturally, the President is POTUS and the Supreme Court is SCOTUS - just so you're aware.)

Wondering who "Duchess" is? Obviously it's Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (formerly known as Kate Middleton - aka my idol). 

So yeah, Catherine's dress cost about $280 - wow! I'm incredibly impressed. Apparently, both Michelle Obama & Samantha Cameron's (Prime Minister's wife, not pictured) dresses cost six times the amount of Catherine's. So not only is she gorgeous, but she's a smart shopper. (Note: SamCam's dress was lent to her - but still... that's expensive!)

And ... not to be rude or anything, since she is the wife of the leader of our fabulous nation, but what the hell is Michelle Obama wearing? Designer or not - that is something that is only appropriate for a 12-year old at Easter.
