Let's take a look, shall we, into the life of the dude Pippa Middleton is using to fill the void in her newly single heart.
First, the facts:
- Name: George Percy
- DOB: May 4, 1984
- Title: Earl Percy
- Heir to: Dukedom of Northumberland
- His father is the 12th Duke of Northumberland, which is one of the oldest, highest regarded, and wealthiest titles in Great Britain.
- If rumors are to be believed, the Duke of Northumberland is actually wealthier than The Queen, as most of the Queen's "fortune" and stately homes belong to the government (although The Royal Family does have an astronomical amount of personal wealth as well).
- Family Home: Alnwick Castle
- Yes, I said "castle." And you're probably more familiar with it than you realize - it doubles as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films!
- How are they acquainted?: It may be easy to jump to the conclusion that Pippa and George are friends purely based on her sister's new royal-family (the Duke & Duchess of Northumberland are on "kissing terms" with most members of the royal family, including The Queen herself), however Pippa actually met George while at University, and lived with him and the son of another Duke, the Duke of Roxburghe. So - she made these social connections on her own.
Now, the speculation:
When Pippa & ex-boyfriend Alex Loudon broke up over the summer (shortly after her sister's ridiculously amazing wedding to that Prince) Pippa was seen all over Europe, in the UK and on the continent, with George Percy. She supposedly also accepted a job at his geothermic firm as a lobbyist.
It was hardly surprising that, days after word came out that Pippa and Alex had split (again),
Pippa high-tailed it to the Percy's estate for a weekend get away and then, upon returning to London, was seen out to dinner with George at a luxurious restaurant, and wasn't seen leaving his apartment until after 2:00am.
